There are a number of incredible mobile phones to look forward to towards the end of 2016 and in early 2017. No doubt, the big release is the Apple iPhone 7, but many other manufacturers are bringing out their own incredible handsets to rival Apple. In this article, we will take a look at a few options that will soon be available, and will no doubt turn the mobile phone market upside down.
Samsung Galaxy Note 7
The Galaxy Note 7 is a much-anticipated release. Not only will it have a fingerprint reader as part of its security but an iris scanner as well. This is the most secure way to keep your phone contents safe.
The display consists of a 5.8-inch screen with at 2560 by 1440 Super Amoled display. The chip is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 Chip and with over 64 gigs of storage, chances are you will have enough space for all your games, movies, and music.
With the Galaxy Note 7, Samsung will have a winner no doubt and many in the United Kingdom are relieved that it will be released here after the Note 6 passed us by.
Motorola E3 and G4
In the early 2000’s Motorola was a major player in the mobile phone industry. Its RAZR was extremely popular and many people either owned one or wanted to. Unfortunately, Motorola could not keep up once smartphones hit the market but with a couple of new releases, they hope to win back some market share.
To do this, they will release the Moto E3 and G4. The E3 is very well priced at around £99 and features a 5-inch screen, 1280 by 720 display, a quad-core processor as well as an 8-megapixel rear camera.
The G4 offers slightly more and is priced accordingly at around £129. It too is powered by a quad-core processor, has a slightly bigger 5.5-inch display, a 13-megapixel rear camera and 16 gigs of storage space, not the greatest, but enough to get by. Both phones should prove to be a hit in the budget phone range.
Microsoft Surface Phone
While Microsoft phones have not really done very well, forcing the software giant to close their phone division, it seems they still will release the Surface phone at some point, possibly early 2017.
Rumours suggest the phone will run Windows 10 and have an Intel chip powering it. Entry models are rumoured to have 4 gigs of RAM along with 64 gigs of storage space, while the top of the range models will have 8 gigs of Ram and 512 gigs of storage. This seems like a serious piece of technology, but whether the market will try another Microsoft phone product remains to be seen.
Is it a phone or a tablet? The public will have the final say it seems.
Every iPhone launch is an event, and the 7 is sure to be no different. This will be a phone with lots of new features and a big upgrade on the iPhone 6s, the last release from Apple. Although not too much is known about the phone, rumours suggest wireless headset compatibility which would be incredible. A new camera might also be a distinct possibility, one that features multiple sensors for better images. Apple always manages to keep things close to their chests so we will just have to wait and see.
