Bryan Merrit of Pheonix Property Developments has given Aurora the use of a retail outlet free of charge for one year. This has enabled Aurora to launch the Aurora care to give shop. The shop is located on the ground floor of 28 Scot Lane in Doncaster, the shop will be a shop with a difference. The shop will also host a:-

CHARITY SHOP 

The Charity shop will sell good quality, clean clothing and shoes (including vintage and retro items). Jewellery, bags and accessories. Books and Music (CDs, Vinyl, DVDs and videos). Homeware: china, ornaments, kitchenware, pictures and collectables. Soft furnishings: small rugs, linen, curtains (must be in clean and good condition). Toys and games. DRESS AGENCY

The dress agency will sell on your behalf that once-worn suit, designer dress or even a pair of expensive jeans that have not seen the light of day for one or two years. You will receive 50% of of the mutually agreed selling price.
HAT HIRE

A local businesswoman has kindly donated £5,500 pounds worth of hats. If anybody needs a hat in time for the St Leger, the shop will be open exclusively tomorrow and Saturday ahead of the official opening day of Saturday 17 September 2011.

PROM DRESS HIRE

Prom Dresses will be available to hire next year in time for the Prom Season.

BEAUTY THERAPY AND PAMPERING FOR MEN

Bryan Merrit has kindly agreed to refurbish the basement of the shop to enable the Aurora to open a Beauty Treatment Salon. Beauty treatments will be available to patients living with cancer, and male patients will be able to have wet shaves using steam towels. All treatments will be available to the public who will be able to donate a fee to ensure the continual support of Aurora.

Aurora wishes to thank Bryan Merrit also for donating the use of a 3000sq ft unit that will serve as a sorting and storage unit for the shop.
