Supporters of Worksop’s new Aurora Wellbeing Centre were out in force last Friday (6 December) at Ye Olde Bell Hotel, Barnby Moor, partying at The Grand Ball.

Singer Rachel Saunders entertained 80 guests as they enjoyed a bubbly reception followed on by a scrumptious 4-course meal, auction, lucky envelope draw, and raffle.  Entertainment was provided by the group ‘Sallys Army’ and DJ Ben also entertained the guests.  The event raised £3500.00 for The Aurora Wellbeing Centre.

Special thanks go to the sponsors of the event  - One Call Insurance of Doncaster.  Thank you also to Steve Bloomfield from Barclays Bank, who pledged £1 for £1 sponsorship up to the value of £750.

The auctions lots were varied and included a week’s holiday in Austria and a golf day for four at Bondhay Golf Course.
